Please review the following job description:

This person will assist the P&C Commercial Lines Insurance Marketing and Sales teams to meet its goals.

The role will be based in our Little Rock or Fayetteville, Arkansas office. We offer a hybrid working schedule which will include 3 days in office and 2 days working from home each week, depending on business needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Assist in overall strategic planning and development of projects/programs to meet marketing objectives.
2. Assist tracking insurance companies as it relates to their contracts, commission structure, premium placement, and program exclusivity.
3. Utilize, develop and monitor the banks’ or carriers’ database to provide leads to producers.
4. Assists in development of Personal/Commercial lines call centers.
5. Assist in the expansion of the affinity-marketing program.
6. Work with IT departments’ in evaluating pilot programs as it pertains to e-business/internet objectives of the company.


QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent education
2. Previous P&C Commercial Lines insurance industry education, training, or experience
3. Property and Casualty Insurance license
4. Basic insurance knowledge with a strong desire to learn and achieve insurance designations such as Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI), INS, Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), (Certified Risk Manager) CRM, Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)) or equivalent
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive business relationships with clients, market contacts, and McGriff teammates
6. Strong persuasion skills and tact to obtain information and successfully interact with clients, carriers, and teammates
7. Discretion and analytical skills to analyze client information, proposal competitiveness, etc.
8. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite
9. Ability to travel overnight, occasionally.

1. College degree or equivalent education and/or experience
2. Ability to travel as needed.
